Programme for Sunday 14th July

The Festival Singers (Director: Gordon Kilby).

Address: The Reverend Michael Sadler (Vicar).

Juliette Bausor - Flute.

Morgan Szymanski - Guitar.

Widely regarded as one of Britain’s leading flute players, and Principal with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Juliette Bausor makes a long-awaited return to the Festival, this time with the exciting Mexican guitar virtuoso, Morgan Szymanski (whom Classical Guitar Magazine memorably described as ‘a player destined for future glories’ and whose career has already taken him to concert halls and festivals throughout the world) Their vibrant programme, which will have a strongly discernible Spanish and South American flavour, with pieces by Manuel DeFalla, Albeniz and Heitor Villa-Lobos, as well as Bartok’s popular Romanian Dances, is surely guaranteed to have the audience – not forgetting the Newton House deer! - on the edge of their seats throughout.

(Note: Seating is somewhat limited in Newton House and early booking for this event is therefore recommended).
Supported by The National Trust.
